Bangalore bang

The first thing that strikes you is the weather, comfortable is a gross understatement. Any better than this and other cities would have died of inferiority complex. To avoid this Bangalore people have made sure that such a thing never happens. Bangalore is blessed by god but harressed by mortals

Imagine an adult, 20 something who has been born and bought up in Heaven. This guy has not seen what it is to be unhappy, angry, voilent, frustated. Now bring him down to earth and give him a job in electronic city. Monday morning put him in the bus to electronic city. Now watch how in the space of an hour or more depending on the traffic all the emotions that our nice guy didnt know, bring themselves out in all their glory. I dont know about this heaven kid but i am surely feeling everything as i travel for close to three hours everyday. A couple of points of observation keep raising there uglyheads all through my travel time.

The companies we all work for provide best in class solutions leveraging technology to global companies, i could not care less does it have the will to take up this traffic problem and come with a solution. If this is not enough some of them have dedicated transportation division which provides consultancy in this field to the so called fortune 500.

Of all the tax the companies are giving to the goverment cant the civic authorities expand the road, without expanding the timeline. I have heard about complex structures huge projects being completed ahead of schedule cant we the new india, build a road, a perfectly normal road in a time span which doesnt cause public agony.

Forget about the road expansions for a while there is a flyover waiting to be completed, iam not an expert on flyovers and neither have i seen the details of the project. But common knowledge tells me its two years behind schedule, and when you look at the site there is practically nothing happening there, for all i know they might be waiting for the cement to set, but two years is a rather long time for whatever setting that had to happen. When you look at the diversion, the convoluted path so many vehicles have to take everyday, the time, the resource wastage all of it it is distressing.

The traffic affects everybody in more ways than one, think about the time the exertion the fatigue that the situation causes. But then there is one thing i believe in you get what you deserve, and you choose what you deserve, is this our choice?
